City Council Public Forum – get to know your future city leaders!
Springfield ICON PAC and the MacArthur Boulevard Association are hosting public forums for City Council Candidates:
Location: South Side Christian Church, 2600 S MacArthur Blvd, Springfield, IL 62704
ICON’s Aldermanic Forum provides an opportunity for Springfield residents and ICON members to get to know Candidates for the Springfield City Council and to evaluate candidate positions on issues of importance to older neighborhoods. The results of candidates’ answers to a questionnaire, sent early in January, will be available at the forum and on our website. Participants will also have an opportunity to submit questions from the floor for consideration and to engage with candidates before and after the forum.
Springfield ICON will be making candidate endorsements before the April 2 election.
